Well, we all know about gmail and there is hardly anyone who doesn’t have an account on gmail. The biggest drawback of gmail was we can only read or send the mails when we are online but this drawback of gmail has gone now. Now you can read and send the e-mails, star it, label it etc. while you don’t have an internet connection. Your message will be stored in the sent box and will be fired off when you will have the internet connection. So, finally gmail has gone offline. I guess most of you guys already know how to activate gmail offline but who don’t know can read further.
How to enable offline Gmail in chrome:-
1 First of all sign in to your Gmail account through chrome
browser.
2 Click on the Gear icon which is in the corner of the right
hand side of your gmail account homepage and then click on the setting option.
3 Now click on the offline option and select the Install
Gmail offline option.
4 On clicking, it will open an another tab and will look
like the picture below. Now select the Add To Chrome option and choose Add from
the Confirm New App screen.
5 Now open a new tab in the chrome and open the App screen. It will show you the apps and there
will be the icon of Gmail Offline.
6 Now click on the Gmail offline icon , select Allow offline
mail and press Continue.
Your gmail account has gone offline now. You can
see,read,move,send the emails without the internet connection!
